WEATHER SITUATIONAL UPDATE

As of 3:30 PM, 1-7-13:

The Wind Chill Warning has expired. Allen County is now under a Wind Chill ADVISORY until 9:00 AM on Wednesday 1-8-14. It is still VERY cold outside, and you could get frostbite or hypothermia in minutes. Stay inside if you are able. If you must go out, cover exposed skin.

If you don't need to be out, please stay in. Going out increases the risk of traffic problems. Our officers ...are already out. Please don't tie them up with situations that could be avoided.

Currently Allen County remains under a LEVEL 2 SNOW EMERGENCY

"LEVEL 2: Roadways are hazardous with blowing and drifting snow. Roads may also be very icy. Only those who feel it is necessary to drive should be out on the roads. Contact your employer to see if you should report to work. Motorists should use extreme caution."
