Lima Police Department investigating incident of "Flash Rob" at a Lima Business.
on 1-13-14, several citizens sent a link to a YouTube video to the Lima Police Department's Social Media pages. The video showed several subjects entering a convenience store participating in shoplifting. The subjects pocketed several items, and then left the business without paying for any of the items.
LPD Officers began investigating the incident and discovered that the incident occurred at Riverview Pizza at 214 S. Pine Street on 12-18-13. The incident was not initially reported by the owner of the business.
As a result of the video, and assistance from Lima City Schools staff, 6 suspects have been positively identified. 5 of the suspects are juveniles, and all are students at Lima Senior High School. Their names are not being released at this time.
