LEVEL 2 SNOW EMERGENCY STILL IN PLACE

UPDATED INFORMATION ABOUT THE SNOW EMERGENCY IN ALLEN COUNTY OHIO:

Allen County remains under a "LEVEL 2 SNOW EMERGENCY".

DEFENITION: Roadways are hazardous with blowing and drifting snow. Roads may also be very icy. Only those who feel it is necessary to drive should be out on the roads. Contact your employer to see if you should report to work. Motorists should use extreme caution.

There are ...several Government related closings as a result of the Level 2 snow emergency as well as the extreme cold temperatures:

All Courts in Allen County are currently closed. This includes the Allen County Common Pleas Court, Lima Municipal Court, and the Juvenile Court.

Additionally, the Lima Chapter of the Red Cross has an emergency warming shelter set up at the chapter house. The address of the Red Cross is 610 S. Collett Street in Lima.
