UPDATE AS OF 0800 hrs. 12/30/2013
A Special Weather Statement has been issued for
Allen County, OH
Significant snow possible – A potent upper level
system is currently advancing into Western British
Columbia and may later foster the development of a significant
snowfall event in our region. While the exact track of this potential winter
storm remains uncertain . . .snow . . .mainly light to moderate is expected
across the Great Lakes Region. Currently the
heaviest snowfall is expected in the extreme northwest Ohio ,
northern Indiana ,
and southern lower Michigan area. Updated forecasts and advisories will likely
be issued with this front.
TUESDAY NIGHT: Snow, low 17. Winds W 5 to 10 mph. New snow accumulation of around an inch.
WEDNESDAY: Flurries high 27. Winds E at 5 mph.
WEDNESDAY NIGHT: Snow, low 21. New snowfall accumulation of 1 to 2 inches.
THURSDAY: Snow, high 24. New snowfall accumulation of 1” to 2”.
